Born and raised in Singapore, Xing Hao is an agent to the forces of music. His mission is to advance the local awareness and understanding of music, both classical and contemporary. As a performer graduating from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in 2018, Xing Hao has been active in the Singapore local music scene performing with numerous bands, orchestras and chamber groups. He is also active in other performance aspects, being a finalist in the solo competition for the Singapore Low Brass Festival 2016 and achieving awards in Brass Quintet competitions both locally and internationally. He also freelances with both the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

As an educator, Xing Hao has been nurturing young minds of music for 10 years. He is currently the band director of Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School and the assistant band director of St. Margaret's Symphonic Band. He has taught for the Australian International School and many various schools in a capacity as a brass instructor. He also serves as the Band Manager of the Lion City Brass Band. Currently, Xing Hao is embarking on yet another musical journey to further the awareness and understanding of the craft - working in tandem with musicians both of now, and them of the future.
